Publix Guides (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates publixguides.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using publixguides.com you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you provide. If you leave a comment or use our contact form, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, and message. We use it only to respond to you and to display comments you choose to publish.

Log files and usage data. Like most websites, we automatically collect standard log data, including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, date and time stamps, and the pages you view. This data is not linked to information that identifies you personally and is used to analyze trends, administer the site, and improve content.

Comments. When you comment, we also collect the comment text, your IP address, and browser user agent string to help detect spam. An anonymized hash of your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy.

Cookies and web beacons

We use cookies to remember your preferences, to understand how visitors use the site, and to show relevant advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the site may not work as intended.

Advertising and Google AdSense

We display advertising through Google AdSense and may work with other third-party advertising partners. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks may use technologies such as cookies, JavaScript, or web beacons in the advertisements and links that appear on publixguides.com. These are sent directly to your browser and automatically receive your IP address. We have no access to or control over the cookies used by third-party advertisers. Please consult their respective privacy policies for more information.

Analytics

We may use analytics services such as Google Analytics to measure traffic and understand which content is useful. These services collect usage data through cookies and similar technologies. Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles may include embedded content such as videos, maps, or social media posts. Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website, and those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content.

How long we keep your data

Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so that follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to you. Server log data is retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. Residents of the European Economic Area have these rights under the GDPR, and California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We do not sell your personal information.

Children’s privacy

publixguides.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and the date at the top will be updated accordingly.
